Rural Broadband

I have been informed by ABC that the issue concerning the Wye ducting that has been a challenge due to the railway,is hopefully now under control.. The cables that run under the line have been tested and hold enough capacity to enable the eligible areas for superfast services without having to undertake any repairs. This should mean that the enabled cabinets will be up and running and providing superfast services by the end of September. If you would like to check which areas are going to be receiving services KCC have launched a postcode checker and will shortly be launching an interactive map to demonstrate where services will be available.

The postcode checker is available at the following link and has been updated this week so holds the most current timings available on the project..http://webapps.kent.gov.uk/KCC.BroadbandChecker.Web.Sites.Public/Pages/Default.aspx
